With personal childhood experience in this very Domestic Relations Court, a career advocating for children and healthier families, and as a mother to a young child, Tiffany knows how important trust and compassion are to our court system. Nobody wants to be in Domestic Relations Court, especially children. That’s why Tiffany will work hard to earn trust, approach serious issues with compassion, and swiftly deliver justice.

The Court’s mediation department helps litigants, especially ones who are not represented by attorneys, resolve their problems without the need for a trial. This approach allows people to feel more in control of their lives, and results in speedier and more affordable outcomes. As Judge, Tiffany will work to grow the mediation department and expand its reach.

In recent years, Domestic Relations Court’s Administrative Judge has profoundly changed the way domestic violence is addressed. Now, the Court more earnestly considers a victim’s mental distress, not just physical injury; judicial officers have a working relationship with law enforcement to ensure safety for all involved upon service of process; and the Court houses a Legal Help Center. Tiffany believes this new approach has saved lives and she will collaborate with leadership to enhance the progress already achieved.
